What the budget really buys
The asking price is not the total cost: title fee, valuation, interpreter, power of attorney and any refurbishment come on top. We tell you at the outset which range of property your figure actually reaches.
Choosing the area and the type
The same budget means a small flat in the centre or a large house further out. Will you let it, live in it, or sell in a few years? The choice follows from that.
